FloWater at the Challenged Athletes Foundation Triathlon

FloWater at the Challenged Athletes Foundation Triathlon

Over 500 people attended the 25th annual Triathlon held by the Challenged Athletes Foundation on October 21st. Held in sunny San Diego, this event provided the opportunity for people of all ages and levels of ability to come together as a community.  FloWater was honored to be part of this inspiring day!

“It is the mission of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) to provide opportunities and support to people with physical challenges, so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics. The Challenged Athletes Foundation believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence and enhances quality of life.”

Living an active lifestyle for many physically challenged athletes is out of reach due to expensive costs of equipment.  The Challenged Athletes Foundation strongly believes in the power of living an active lifestyle and wants to provide that opportunity to everyone, no matter what your abilities are. All of the proceeds from this Triathlon are being used to provide adaptive sports equipment, training, and competition travel expenses to those in need.  Not only does CAF provide athletes with the means to participate in sports, but also creates a tight knit community.

We were more than happy to partner with CAF to provide 8 Refill Stations as a part of our Give One, Drink One, Save One project. Not only did they athletes have access to premium hydration, but they also helped us to eliminate 1,779 plastic water bottles from entering the landfill!
